About Magne

My name is Magne Bjella, and throughout my working life I have been interested in the people behind the systems, services, and results. My interest has never been in technology alone, but in how people, culture, collaboration, and trust shape what we create together.

Over the years, I have worked with the internet, digitalization, communication, and customer experience in both the private and public sectors. My career has given me the opportunity to experience a wide range of environments and perspectives—from commercial businesses and international professional communities to cultural institutions and the public sector.

Alongside my career, I studied innovation, eMarketing, and digital development at BI Norwegian Business School, including through seminars and academic programs in San Francisco and Oxford. These experiences have given me great respect for the people who build knowledge over time—researchers, employees, educators, entrepreneurs, designers, developers, and leaders who share their experiences and challenge established ways of thinking.

This website, therefore, is not intended to provide definitive answers.
It is designed as an open space for reflection.

The Invisible Capital is about what often receives less attention in discussions about value creation:

I believe many of society’s most important values are created precisely here—in the interaction between people.

The website and the projects emerging from it will therefore continue to evolve over time. New articles, reflections, blog posts, studies,

illustrations, and publications will be added as ideas mature and new experiences are incorporated. Some will focus on technology and working life. Some on culture, innovation, and society. Some will be academic and professional in nature. Others will be more personal and reflective. The common thread is curiosity, knowledge sharing, and a desire to highlight the people and communities that inspire us.

This project is not about collecting trophies or building a digital showcase of achievements. It is about sharing experiences, reflections, professional inspiration, and knowledge with others. Over the years, I have been fortunate to take part in inspiring professional communities, seminars, projects, and networks—and I now want to make much of what I have learned available to others. If something here can inspire, help, or spark new ideas in other people, the project has already succeeded.

I developed this website myself with the support of modern digital tools, including artificial intelligence, used as an aid for structure, language, and idea development. All professional content, reflections, and personal experiences are based on my own studies, presentations, articles, seminars, professional experience, and assessments developed over a long career in digitalization, communication, and innovation.

I hope this website can become a place for reflection—but also a place that reminds us that value is rarely created alone. It emerges through the interaction of people, experiences, ideas, and communities.
