My Work Experience

Before the internet, smartphones, and social media became a natural part of everyday life, I had the opportunity to experience working life through major technological and societal changes. This section of the project brings together experiences from SAS, Navico, the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, and Bærum Municipality—and reflections on people, digitalization, and how value is created through collaboration.

The classic SAS logo in dark blue, designed as a stylized aircraft tail fin against a light background. The logo represents Scandinavian Airlines and evokes Scandinavian design, aviation history, travel, innovation, and the early digital transformation of the airline industry, in which SAS was a pioneer.

SAS

For nearly 25 years, SAS was my workplace—during a period when aviation, customer journeys, and the internet changed dramatically. This was also where my journey into digitalization, marketing, and user focus began, including my work with SAS EuroBonus and the internet at SAS Norway. This journey continues to be updated—with more flights, performances, and action plans along the way.

2007 - 2010

Navico

At Navico, I had the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, brand building, and digital development in an international marine electronics company. We worked with global digital solutions, multilingual websites, and modern content management platforms—experiences that would later become an important part of my continuing digital journey. This journey continues to be updated—with more flights, performances, and action plans along the way.

The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet

From digital initiatives and marine technologies to one of Norway’s most iconic cultural institutions. My years at the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet became a journey into the arts, the people, and the magic behind the scenes. This journey continues to be updated—with more flights, performances, and action plans along the way.

2018 - 2026

Bærum Municipality

From national cultural institutions to digital services for more than 100,000 residents. My years at Bærum Municipality became a journey centered on user focus, accessibility, and making digital services easier for people to use in their everyday lives. This journey continues to be updated—with more flights, performances, and action plans along the way.

Watercolor illustration in soft, natural colors of a peaceful path winding through an open landscape toward a forest and the horizon in the evening sun. To the left stands a simple wooden sign surrounded by grass and flowers, while birds fly across the sky in the background. In the center, the text about experiences and the journey ahead is integrated as a natural part of the scene. The illustration symbolizes growth, reflection, life’s journey, and continuous learning through working life, people, and experience.
