Here we start talking about how things are actually measured, managed and optimized. Not just nice words – but concepts that determine whether a solution works in practice. And yes… some of them are perhaps used a little too often. Here they are at least explained.

Metrics
Metrics used to assess performance, such as traffic, conversion or user engagement.
MVP (Minimum Viable Product)
An early version of a product with enough functionality to be tested in the market.
Net Promoter Score (NPS)
A method of measuring customer loyalty based on how likely customers are to recommend a service.
Omnichannel
A strategy that provides customers with a seamless experience across digital and physical channels.
Optimization
Continuous improvement of solutions based on data and insights.
Organic Traffic
Traffic to a website that comes from unpaid searches, typically via search engines.
