Innovation and Commercialization
BI Nydalen 2005–2006

The Innovation Program explores how new ideas are developed, brought to life, and transformed into lasting value. Through theory, practice, and international perspectives, innovation is examined as both a strategic and a social process.

Module II

Module II takes a deeper look at why innovation succeeds or fails in established organizations. Through key theories and analyses of radical and incremental innovation, the module explores the tensions between structure, strategy, and the ability to execute.

Module IV

Module IV connects theory and practice through seminars in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Here, we studied how innovation is organized, financed, and scaled within the world’s most dynamic innovation ecosystem—and how these insights complement the theories explored in Modules I–III.

Module VI and V in
San Francisco

Modules IV and V move the program from theory to practice through seminars in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Here, we met entrepreneurs, investors, and researchers working at the heart of the global innovation ecosystem—and gained insights into how ideas are actually developed, tested, and scaled.
